Diamond Head Memorial Park is a large memorial park and mausoleum located near Diamond Head. In 2012, the owners were looking for ways to lower their electric bills. They had nine electric meters were looking to consolidate their service as well. The Owners of the Diamond Head Memorial Park selected Island Pacific Energy to install four separate photovoltaic systems on three buildings and consolidate the nine electric meters into just four.
The four photovoltaic solar energy systems totaling 62kW were installed on the roof of the office, mausoleum and maintenance buildings. The systems consists of 248 solar modules and microinverters. Collectively the systems generate over 90,000kWh of clean, renewable energy annually.
